Background

I completed a Bachelor of Business degree from the Queensland Agricultural College in 1981, after which I worked with Consolidated Fertilizers Ltd (now Incitec). After several years in this position I turned my hand to newsagencies and, in Partnership with my wife, operated one for some six and a half years.

 

In 1995 I was admitted as a member to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and in 1998 I joined the team at Evans Edwards & Associates Pty Ltd, becoming a Partner in July 2000.
