Background

I have been working in accounting practices since 1992. After commencing my professional career in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, I moved north to Townsville in 1993 to work in a medium sized suburban practice. I joined the international accounting firm of Pricewaterhouse Coopers in 1998 in Brisbane and have been with Evans Edwards & Associates Pty Ltd since May 2001. I was admitted as a Partner of the firm in July 2004.  

Expertise

I have a broad range of skills which cover the tax and accounting compliance, business advisory and strategic management areas, and my main area of expertise is in private and public sector auditing. My client base extends from businesses involved in primary production, tourism and hospitality, event management, property development, general retail, welfare, transport and service industries to professionals, local government agencies and incorporated clubs and associations. 

Goals

My major objective is to assist my clients to understand and meet their requirements with regard to relevant legislation that they may operate under, and to provide sound and effective business advice that will allow their future operations to achieve maximum results and/or targeted goals.
